A Case of Fetus Papyraceus in Twin Pregnancy

Abstract
|
|
|
The fetus papyraceus is a rare complication in multiple pregnancy.
If one fetus of multiple pregnancy died in uterus remote from term and other fetus did not, the dead fetus with placenta is compressed between the uterine wall and the membrane of living fetus and then the dead fetus becomes a fetus papyraceus.
We had experienced a case of fetus papyraceus in twin pregnancy.
We report this case with a brief review of the concerned literatures.
